Mount Batur Volcano tour by Volkswagen, Old German Military Car is a Full day tour to explore Kintamani and driving down along the slope of Mount Batur, Visit some villages and Lunch at Local Restaurant in front of Batur Lake.

TOUR PROGRAM 

This Bali excursion is a special tour by Volkswagen, a German Military Car. we pick you up from the hotel and we  drive on small back-roads with the scenic beauty of Bali’s rice terraces and lush vegetation (by passing Ubud) via Kenderan and Manuaba drive up to Pura Megening for temple visit in Sebatu. The tour continues by driving up to Penelokan, where we reach the rim of a huge caldera (14 km across) with a breathtaking view of Mount Batur, the mountain with highest 1717m; it’s most active volcano here, in Bali.

Then we going down (183 m) via the truck-route into the old crater, we will encounter huge lava-flows which have covered most of the vegetation. On the edge of the caldera are big trees, which are inhabited by wild monkeys. Stop made, to climb up a small Lava-Dune with a beautiful view of Mountain. Our guide will explain about the thirty million years old of the history on the area and surrounding. After an adventure drive around the mountain, we reach Bali’s biggest lake, which fills a third of the crater. Lake Batur, is until now has sources of water for the southern part of the island.

Lunch will be served at the local restaurant. After lunch, we continue the trip and we follow the road to Payangan, (stop then walks to explain the species and fruits of available in Bali along on this route. By using again a small back roads, our last stop will be in Desa Petulu (White herons), after a short walk through the village, transfer back to the hotel. Photo-stops are possible at any time during above route.
