Flores Komodo Highlights Tour is aimed to explore Kelimutu 3 colour lake that is foremost visit in the eastern part of Flores. Driving down to the North to Riung which surrounded by 17 islets  tranquil and Bajawa with its traditional Village -a megalithic village with impressive stone formations, traditional houses and ancestral shrines. Continue to Ruteng, cooling area on the slope of Mountain Ranaka and Waerebo traditional Village. Komodo island famous for the Komodo Dragon, the largest species of lizard on the planet.

ITINERARY

DAY 01:  ARRIVAL ENDE – MONI [-/L/D]

A warm welcome awaits as you arrive at ENDE’s airport. You will be greeted by our professional and licensed guide who will escort you to visit Wologai traditional house. Then continue to Jopu Village to see the Ikat Waving. Lunch will be served at local restaurant. Dinner & accommodation at KELIMUTU ECO LODGE

 Day 02:  MONI-RIUNG (B/L/D)

Depart in the early morning at 04:00 am from your hotel, drive to Mount Kelimutu, with its three -coloured crater lakes, is probably the most amazing natural phenomenon in Nusa Tenggara. The colour has dramatic changed in the last 20 years, now it has turquoise, Blue and dark green. In the morning is has the best opportunities to enjoy sunrise (if the weather permitted). After you have descended the volcano you will return to Hotel for Breakfast. After breakfast we will leave Moni towards  Ende to have Lunch which continue to green stone Beach before you arrive in Riung. Afternoon free at Leiure.

Stay at Nirwana Hotel Riung. Dinner at Local Restaurant.

 DAY 03:  RIUNG – HOPING ISLAND – BAJAWA [B/L/D]

After Breakfast, we will heading towards Rutong island for snorkelling and swimming, continue to TIGA island where you will have Barbeque Lunch. Then back to Hotel for refreshing and continue to Bajawa, noticing the dramatic change in nature and ethnicity along the way. Stop at SOA hot-spring before you arrive at Hotel in Bajawa. Accommodation at HOTEL HAPPY HAPPY/Similar (A very simple accommodation in Bajawa)

 DAY 04:  BAJAWA – RANAMESE LAKE – RUTENG [B/L/D]

After breakfast at your hotel you will visit Bena -a megalithic village with impressive stone formations, traditional houses and ancestral shrines. Spend some time exploring this fascinating village and learning about the cultural and supernatural beliefs of the locals. There will also be a photo stop on the slope of Mount Inerie, an active volcano before lunch.

This afternoon, continue your journey towards Ruteng stopping at Ranamese Lake, a 21 metre deep crater lake at an altitude of 1,220 metres, on the way. Surrounded by forest, the lake is a great place for bird-watching and you may also see wild macaques. Lunch will be served at local restaurant. Dinner and accommodation at SPRING HILL BUNGALOW / Similar (No star, a very simple accommodation in Ruteng, but the best available in this area)

Day 5: RUTENG – DENGE – WAE REBO ( B/L/D)

After Breakfast, drive inland with beautiful panoramic views, villages and rice fields. Stop at Cancar Spiderweb and Todo Village. Lunch at local at local house in Denge. Afternoon Hiking uphill through the rain forest to reach Wae Lomba – a creek as the first stop after about a one hour trek from Denge. You can enjoy the natural pools before continue trekking. Then uphill to reach Post 2 at Pocoroko a point for panoramic views to the South and Savu sea.
It’s the last place where cellular phone connection services are available. The next stop will be at Nampe Bakok – a place where you will have a complete view over the traditional village of Waerebo. Arrive at Waerebo before midday. Lunch and dinner will be provided at the village. Spend your whole afternoon in the village and surroundings to experience the local way of life. Your overnight stay will be provided at one of the traditional houses. Sharing with the local people. (Very Simple accommodation).

Day 6: WAEREBO – DENGE – LABUANBAJO (B/L)

Spend your morning in the village and then trek the same way back but this time you walk downhill until reaching a point where the car is waiting to bring you back to Labuan Bajo. Lunch will be provided en route. Arrive in Labuan Bajo by late afternoon or early of the evening. Overnight at Bintang Flores Hotel, Dinner at own arrangement.

Day 07: LABUAN BAJO – KANAWA ISLAND  – PINK BEACH – KOMODO ISLAND ( B/L/D)

In the Morning you will be pick up and transfer directly to the harbor, continue by local boat to Kanawa island, arrive in Kanawa, snorkelling and swimming on the island. Lunch will be served on board while you proceed to Pink Beach for snorkeling, then continue to Komodo Island. In the Afternoon upon arrival with your assigned ranger explore the island to see the activities of the fascinating Komodo dragons in their pure and natural environment as well as wild pig, buffalo and birds. Dinner and overnight on Board (Cabin boat with fan / AC Cabin)

 DAY 08: KOMODO ISLAND – PADAR ISLAND – KELOR – LABUAN BAJO (B/L)

In the early morning around 04.00, around 2.5 hours cruise to the uninhabited Padar Island, the third largest island of the National Park and walk to the highest point on the island to enjoy the magnificent scenery. Then cruise to Kelor Island for snorkeling and swimming, Lunch will be served on Boar before cruising back to Labuan Bajo.

DAY 9: LABUAN BAJO –  BATU CERMIN CAVE  – AIRPORT (B/L)

Breakfast at Hotel. Then depart for Batu Cermin Cave and panorama point then Airport for next destination
