3D2N Yogyakarta-Bromo

Borobudur, the largest Buddhist temple in Southeast Asia, and also listed as UNESCO heritage site, and Prambanan, a complex of Hindus temples, with its carvings onto its walls, telling the Ramayana story. Other than its priceless architecture monuments, the atmosphere of Yogyakarta is partly due to the fact that the Sultan of Yogyakarta empowers its inhabitants, being supportive and attracting from all over the archipelago, to experience the artistic and bustling life of the city. Mt. Bromo, impressive with its 10 km crater, and if weather permits, a stunning sunrise from Penanjakan.

ITINERARY

DAY 1: Arrival – Prambanan – City Tour – Borobudur – Pawon Mendut (L)

Morning arrival at the Airport and greeted by our friendly guide who will accompany you throughout the trip. Firstly Visit Prambanan Temple, a masterpiece of Hindu structure in Indonesia and then visit Sultan Palace of Yogyakarta, the house of Yogyakarta’s king and continued by Tamansari Watercasle, a garden of bathing pool for Sultan’s entourage. Lunch at Yogyakarta authentic restaurant inside Sultan Palace Complex. And continue to Borobudur Temple in Magelang area to visit the largest Buddhist monument in Indonesia. Visit Pawon and Mendut temple, sister temple of Borobudur nearby. and then head back to Yogyakarta city and transfer to the hotel.

DAY 2: Yogyakarta – Surabaya (Jombang / Mojokerto) by train – Tosari [B/L/-]

Breakfast at the hotel and after breakfast, start the day with scenic drive to East Java by Sancaka train to Jombang / Mojokerto (depart at 07:25 from Yogyakarta). therefore along the way you will discover picturesque landscape. Arrive in Jombang / Mojokerto train station; then we continue drive by car to Tosari for 2 – 3 hours non stop drive. And Lunch will be provided at local restaurant. In the afternoon we will arrive at your hotel for check in and overnight. Dinner at own arrangement

DAY 3: Bromo Sunrise Tour – Airport (L)

Very early morning (start at 04.00 a.m.) depart to Penanjakan, one of the most spectacular landscapes in the world. Then leaving the hotel by jeep to reach Penanjakan, witnessing the beautiful sun rise (if weather permit). Then the trip continues to cross the sand-sea to get to the feet of mount Bromo. (Please note the ideal time to visit Bromo is during the dry season, April to November. becauseaAt any time of year its cold on these mountains and night temperatures can get down to around 2-5 Celsius). Then drive back to the hotel for breakfast, and after Breakfast transfer to airport for flight departure to Bali or your next Destination.
